What CheckedCare is

CheckedCare is operated by Vientapps LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("CheckedCare," "we," or "us"). CheckedCare republishes official government child care inspection and licensing records, verbatim and with citations. We are an independent publisher and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency. The regulating agency's own database is the authoritative source; our pages are a dated, verified cache of it.

Accuracy and timeliness

We take reasonable steps to reproduce agency records accurately, including a checksum-pinned import and a live-portal spot check. Records may still lag the agency's database, contain agency errors, or become outdated between syncs. We make no warranty that any record is complete, current, or error-free. Every page shows the date it was synced; always verify a facility's current status with the agency.

No ratings, no advice

We publish counts and records, never ratings, scores, or recommendations. Nothing here is an endorsement or a warning about any facility, and nothing here is legal, medical, or child-care advice. Decisions about a facility are yours to make from the underlying official record.

Personal information and redaction

We publish facilities and their public records, not people. We do not publish data about children, residents, or staff, and we remove individuals' names and contact details from inspection narratives before publishing (marked [name redacted]). Some operations are licensed by the state under an individual's name; that operation name is part of the public record and is shown as the state publishes it. If you believe a person's private information appears here, request removal below and we will review it promptly.

Corrections and removals

If a record does not match the agency's own record, or exposes an individual's personal information, tell us through our corrections process. We re-verify disputed records against the agency's live portal and act on what it shows.

Limitation of liability

CheckedCare is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vientapps LLC, its owners, and its contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its records.

Source material

The underlying records are public records published by state licensing agencies. Agency names, links, and sync dates are shown on each page. We claim no ownership of the underlying government records.
