Of the nine children's reviewed, three did not have the Name, Address and/or Phone Numbers of the Emergency Contact.

Of the nine children's files reviewed, all nine did not have the Healthcare Provider Statement noted in the children's file.

The Current Employee List was not posted. This was corrected during the inspection.

Of the nine children's files reviewed, one did not have the Date of enrollment on the Admission Form noted.

Of the four staff files reviewed, one did not have the required information regarding their education.

Of the three staff files reviewed, one did not have current First Aid/CPR.

In two of the highly used areas of the child care center the paint is pealing off of the the walls. One area is a classroom that is used for rainy days and the other area is a hallwall enterance to a classroom.

On the Playground the Landscape Edging was on longer in the ground, this was the case in two different areas on the playground. By the Landscape Edging not being in the ground this could cause a possible tripping hazard. This was corrected during the inspection when the director pulled up the Landscape Edging entirely.

A fire inspection was not completed for the 2023 year. 4/6/2023 The Annual Fire Inspection was conducted, however there are areas that were not completed. The church is in talks with a local company regarding materials to fix the reminding deficiency for the City of Corpus Christi Fire Department. No definitive date has been identified for completion.

In one restroom there was chipped paint on the walls accessible to children.

One employees folder was not available for review upon inspection.

All three doors used exiting the building where children are do not close properly due to malfunction of doors.

A caregiver did not use good judgment when she left a child in the care of an employee who was preparing lunches for the daycare. As a result, the child was able to leave from her care. The operation did not use good judgment when law enforcement wasn?t contacted after the child left the daycare.

The primary director allowed a caregiver to leave a child who was misbehaving during chapel, in the care of an employee who was preparing lunches and did not have the ability to conduct both duties.

Based on the information gathered and preponderance of evidence, an employee was not properly supervising a child when she was preparing lunches in the kitchen. As a result, the child left the premises and was found 20 minutes later by local city workers.
