The CO detector had not been tested monthly since 4/2024. This was corrected when it was tested today and documented.

Two school age children files did not have proper school information such as the name of the school or the phone number. This was corrected when the information was updated in the files.

Outside there was a broken scooter that could not be used. This was corrected when the equipment was thrown away.

Fire drills have not been conducted or documented since 4/6/2024. This was corrected when a fire drill was conducted during the inspection.

The child care is not practicing fire drills. The last fire drill was conducted in March 2020. Fire drills must be conducted every month and documented on the Fire Safety Practices form. You must conduct a fire drill by 3/9/22.

The primary caregiver and the caregiver that transports children is not current with transportation safety training. A transportation safety course must be completed by 2/24/22.

The child care home is not practicing lock down/shelter in place drills. These drills must be done 4 times a year and documented on the Fire Safety Practices form.

Background checks for two household members have not been submitted. The household members moved into the home in 2021. Please log into the portal and submit the required background checks today.

The primary caregiver needs to receive 6 clock hours of annual training in one or more the following topics for the September 2020-Septembber 2021 training year. 1. Child development and growth 2. Guidance and discipline 3. Age appropriate activities 4. Teacher child interaction 5. Caring for children with special needs These 6 clock hours will be counted as make-up training hours and will not be counted towards the current training year.

The fire extinguisher has not been serviced within the last year. The arrow is in the red area. Please have the fire extinguisher serviced or purchase a new one.
