It was determined during the investigation that the caregiver did not intervene to provide the victim with first aid treatment. The victim's eye was injured. Ice or other medical aid was not provided to the victim. The caregiver took the child back to the classroom after the injury on the playground and did not notify her immediate supervisor or another caregiver that the victim needed first aid for their injured eye, nor did the caregiver attempt to provided first aid themselves for the victim. The victim remained in the classroom injured until the parent picked up without first aid being provided.
