June 9, 2026 Standard § 745.8411(a) - Responsibilities - Not interfere with an inspection or investigation
High
Verbatim from the agency record
Operation security and the caregiver left in charge interfered with and delayed the investigation after being informed by the CCR inspector?both verbally and through identification?as well as by the CCR supervisor of the inspector?s credentials and ongoing investigation. Both were also warned not to interfere. The caregiver left in charge admitted to contacting security, claiming they did not know who the CCR inspector was while the inspector was interviewing children. However, video evidence shows that the caregiver had been informed of the inspector?s identity. The caregiver?s actions delayed and interfered with the ongoing investigation. Operation security further delayed the investigation by not providing video recordings of the alleged incident during the inspection. CCR should have been granted immediate access to these records. The CCR inspector and supervisor both requested the records, but access was not granted until more than two weeks later.
