There were 28 children in care when the center's licensed capacity is 26. This was corrected during the inspection when two children were picked up by a parent.

Two of the children in care were not enrolled and did not have any admission information on file. This was corrected during the inspection when the children were picked up and the director informed me that they wouldn't be returning.

The operation expanded the infant room and did not notify Child Care Regulation prior to using the expanded space. This was corrected during the inspection when the space was inspected and measured.

One of the infant caregivers stepped out of the infant room, leaving one caregiver with eight infants. The infant group had a specified age of 12-17 months and could only have five infants with one caregiver in the room. This was corrected during the inspection when the caregiver returned to the infant room.

Infants in the infant room were watching a television show on a caregiver's phone. This was corrected during the inspection when the show was turned off.

One caregiver had seven infants ages 4-15 months, and another caregiver had 19 children ages 2-3 years old. Both classes were placed into ratio when additional caregivers joined the classrooms.

A caregiver stated they had 18 children when they had 19 children in their group. This was corrected when the caregiver was informed that they had 19 children in the group.

There was a bottle of disinfectant wipes on a table within reach of children. This was corrected during the inspection when the disinfectant wipes were moved out of reach.

Two infants had feeding instructions that were not dated, and one had instructions that were last updated in January.

One caregiver was missing 12.5 hours of their 24 hours of annual training, including training on emergency preparedness, communicable diseases, medication administration, preventing allergic reactions, building and physical premises safety, and handling hazardous materials.

An infant was observed sleeping with a bottle. This was corrected during the inspection when the bottle was taken from the infant.

The children's product certification form was last signed in November 2024. This was corrected during the inspection when the director signed a new children's product certification form.

One caregiver had six infants with a specified age of 0-11 months. A 0-11 month group should only have four infants to one caregiver. This was corrected during the inspection when a second caregiver joined the classroom.

While a caregiver was changing a diaper, a walking infant walked out of the infant room and was unsupervised briefly until the Child Care Regulation inspector brought the child back into the infant classroom.

Out of four children's records reviewed, one child needed an updated immunization record and a health statement, and another child needed a health statement.

Two infants were observed sleeping in bouncers in their play yards. This was corrected when the infants were removed from the bouncers and placed in their bare play yards.

The operation started using the kitchen or infants to eat lunch in without notifying Child Care Regulation. This was corrected during the inspection when the room was inspected and measured.

During the inspection, two caregivers stepped out of their classrooms to open the front door or get supplies, leaving the children in the room unsupervised. This was corrected during the inspection when the caregivers returned to their rooms.

An infant was observed sleeping with a bottle. This was corrected during the inspection when the director was informed that infants can't sleep with bottles and the bottle was removed.

The operation's last fire inspection was completed on 8/27/24.

The operation had started using the porch, sanctuary, and church nursery without notifying Child Care Regulation. This was corrected during the inspection when Child Care Regulation was notified that the spaces were being used for children and the spaces were measured.

During the inspection, the seven children in care were separated into different rooms with only one caregiver going between rooms to watch them. This was corrected during the inspection when the children were all combined into one room so that the caregiver could maintain supervision of all children in care.

An infant who was still on formula did not have written feeding instructions.

The dates that the fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors were tested had not been recorded. This was corrected during the inspection when the owner recorded the dates that the equipment was lasted tested.

The most recent inspection letter was not posted. This was corrected during the inspection when the inspection letter was printed out and posted.

Several outlets did not have covers. This was corrected during the inspection when outlet covers were placed in the outlets.

The operation did not have a signed children product certification form. This was corrected during when the owner confirmed that she is subscribed to the recall emails and signed a certification form.
